Photo by Ardath Holmes | Elsa Frohman is a child of the 1950s who grew up in and around Detroit, MI. A graduate of Wayne State University in Communications, she served six years in the U.S. Navy around the time of the end of the Vietnam War. After the Navy, she began a career in journalism, working as a copy editor and reporter at daily newspapers for more than 30 years. She retired in 2013 to take on a new career of renovating old houses to become rental units. She started writing in the 1980s, publishing several mass-market romances in the New American Library Rapture Romance line. Today, she manages rentals as well as writing, knitting and cooking.
